- 4 cups Granny Smith apples, peeled and sliced
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/4 tsp salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish.
- In a bowl, toss sliced apples with brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg until coated.
- In another bowl, combine oats, flour, brown sugar, melted butter, and salt until crumbly.
- Spread the apple mixture in the baking dish and top with the oat mixture.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes until apples are bubbly and topping is golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before serving with ice cream or whipped cream.
