Ready to taste life?
I never planned to be a chef. I never dreamed of owning a food website. Life had other plans.
For 22 years, I worked as a forensic accountant. Numbers, spreadsheets, cold facts. Then came the diagnosis. Stage 3 cancer. Suddenly, my ordered world of figures and forecasts meant nothing.
During chemo, I couldn’t eat much. But I could watch cooking shows. Hours upon hours of them. They became my escape, my window to a world full of colors and flavors when my own world had turned gray.
Post-recovery (yes, I kicked cancer’s butt!), I made a promise to myself:
No more living life in black and white.
Now I create recipes that celebrate life in all its messy, imperfect glory. No strict measurements. No rigid rules. Just pure, unbridled joy in every bite.
