Ingredients
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 8 ounces fresh mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- Cooked egg noodles or rice, for serving
Instructions
- 1. Heat a large skillet over medium heat and drizzle olive oil. Sauté chopped onions and mushrooms until soft (about 5 minutes).
- 2. Push vegetables aside and brown the ground beef on the other side for 6-8 minutes.
- 3. Add minced garlic and cook for an additional minute.
- 4. Pour in beef broth, stir well, then add Dijon mustard and simmer for about 3 minutes.
- 5. Reduce heat and mix in sour cream until fully incorporated; do not boil.
- 6. Serve over cooked egg noodles or rice.
