Instructions
- Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown, about 5 minutes. Stir in minced garlic and cook for an additional minute.
- Increase heat to medium-high and add beef tips, searing for about 3 minutes on each side until browned.
- Pour in soy sauce and beef broth, stirring to combine while scraping any brown bits from the pan. Bring to a gentle simmer.
- Mix cornstarch with a tablespoon of water to create a slurry, then stir it into the skillet. Cook for an additional few minutes until the sauce thickens.
- Prepare rice according to package instructions while the beef simmers.
- Serve beef tips over fluffy rice, drizzling with sauce.
