Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt; set aside.
- In another bowl, beat softened butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture until combined; do not over-mix.
- Fold in chocolate chips gently.
- Scoop tablespoon-sized portions onto prepared baking sheets about two inches apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown around the edges while still soft in the center.
