Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
- In a large bowl, beat softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy (about 3-4 minutes).
- Add the egg, orange zest, and vanilla extract; mix until combined.
- Gradually incorporate the dry mixture until no flour streaks remain. Fold in white chocolate chips if using.
- Scoop tablespoon-sized dough onto lined baking sheets, leaving space between each scoop.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are lightly golden. Cool on the sheet for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks.
