- 8 oz fresh mozzarella cheese
- 2 medium ripe tomatoes
- 1 cup fresh basil leaves
- 2 tablespoons balsamic glaze
- 2 slices artisan bread
Instructions
- Gather all ingredients on a clean surface.
- Slice the artisan bread in half.
- Layer fresh mozzarella slices on one piece of bread.
- Add thick tomato slices on top of the mozzarella.
- Generously place fresh basil leaves over the tomatoes.
- Drizzle balsamic glaze evenly over the layers.
- Top with the other half of the bread and press gently to secure.
- Slice in half if desired and serve immediately.
