- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 3/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth. Add the egg and vanilla; mix thoroughly.
- Gradually sift in the flour and incorporate until just combined.
- In another bowl, mix cream cheese with powdered sugar and lemon juice until smooth for your filling.
- Scoop out cookie dough and flatten it slightly. Place a dollop of cheesecake filling in the center and wrap the dough around it.
- Bake on parchment-lined trays for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
