- 3–4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
- 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1 cup cooked bacon bits
- 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
- Chopped green onions (for garnish)
- Hot sauce (optional)
Instructions
- Cook chicken in boiling water for 15-20 minutes until fully cooked. Shred the chicken using two forks.
- In a saucepan over low heat, melt the cream cheese until smooth, stirring frequently (about 5 minutes).
- Stir in shredded cheddar cheese until melted and combined.
- Add shredded chicken, bacon bits, ranch seasoning, and hot sauce (if using). Mix well.
- Transfer to a greased baking dish and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 20-25 minutes until bubbly and golden.
- Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
