- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup Swiss cheese, shredded
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup stuffing mix
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 3 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Spray a baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper; arrange them in the baking dish.
- In a bowl, mix cream of chicken soup, minced garlic, dried thyme, and half of the chicken broth. Pour over the chicken.
- Layer Swiss cheese on top of the sauce.
- In another bowl, combine stuffing mix with remaining chicken broth until moistened. Spoon it over the cheese layer evenly.
- Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
