- 12 wonton wrappers
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 2 green onions, finely chopped
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- Low-sodium soy sauce (for dipping)
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix cream cheese, green onions, and garlic powder until smooth.
- Place about 1 teaspoon of filling onto the center of each wonton wrapper. Wet edges with water, fold diagonally to form a triangle, and press to seal.
- Heat oil in a deep skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering. Fry wontons in batches for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown.
- Use a slotted spoon to drain excess oil on paper towels. Serve hot with soy sauce.
