- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 3 tbsp butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Pat chicken breasts dry and season both sides generously with salt and pepper.
- In one bowl, combine panko breadcrumbs and grated Parmesan cheese. In another bowl, beat an egg.
- Dip each chicken breast into the egg mixture, then coat thoroughly in the breadcrumb-Parmesan mixture.
- Arrange on the prepared baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
- For the garlic sauce, melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat, add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute. Stir in heavy cream and Parmesan until smooth.
- Drizzle the sauce over the baked chicken before serving.
