Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8×8-inch baking pan.
- Melt unsalted butter in a microwave-safe bowl until just melted; let cool slightly.
- Stir in granulated and brown sugars until well combined.
- Beat in room temperature eggs, one at a time, until smooth.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
- Fold dry ingredients into wet mixture gently; avoid overmixing.
- Add chocolate chips and fold until evenly distributed.
- Pour batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until edges are set but center is slightly soft.
- Allow to cool completely before slicing into squares.
