Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a skillet, sauté chopped onion until translucent. Add minced garlic and ground beef; cook until browned. Stir in tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 15 minutes.
- Mix ricotta cheese with salt, pepper, and half the grated Parmesan until smooth.
- In a baking dish, spread meat sauce at the bottom, layer noodles over it, followed by half the ricotta mixture and shredded mozzarella cheese. Repeat layers until all ingredients are used.
- Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes; then uncover and bake for an additional 15 minutes until bubbly.
