Ingredients

  • Lasagna noodles
  • Lean ground beef
  • Onion
  • Garlic
  • Canned tomato sauce
  • Diced tomatoes
  • Italian seasoning
  • Ricotta cheese
  • Mozzarella cheese
  • Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet, sauté chopped onion until translucent. Add minced garlic and ground beef; cook until browned. Stir in tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 15 minutes.
  3. Mix ricotta cheese with salt, pepper, and half the grated Parmesan until smooth.
  4. In a baking dish, spread meat sauce at the bottom, layer noodles over it, followed by half the ricotta mixture and shredded mozzarella cheese. Repeat layers until all ingredients are used.
