Instructions
- Prepare your workstation by gathering all ingredients and tools.
- In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, cinnamon, and sugar until smooth.
- Trim crusts from bread slices (if desired) and flatten with a rolling pin. Optionally, spread filling if using.
- Roll the bread tightly and dip each roll into the egg mixture until soaked but not falling apart.
- Heat butter in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the rolls seam-side down until golden brown on all sides (about 4-5 minutes).
- Serve warm drizzled with maple syrup or dusted with powdered sugar.
