Instructions
- Preheat a large skillet over medium heat. Add oil if desired.
- Brown the ground beef in the skillet for about 5-7 minutes, breaking it apart as it cooks.
- Stir in the diced onion and minced garlic; sauté until the onion is translucent (about 3-4 minutes).
- Add the tomato sauce and season with spices. Mix well.
- Reduce heat and let simmer for 10-15 minutes to meld flavors.
- Serve hot with your choice of sides.
