Ingredients
- 4 slices sourdough bread
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 4 tablespoons pizza sauce
- ½ cup assorted toppings (pepperoni, bell peppers, mushrooms)
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
Instructions
- Preheat a skillet over medium heat.
- Butter one side of each slice of sourdough bread.
- On the unbuttered side of two slices, spread 2 tablespoons of pizza sauce each. Top with shredded mozzarella and your desired toppings before closing with another slice (buttered side out).
- Grill in the skillet for about 3-4 minutes until golden brown; flip carefully and grill for an additional 3-4 minutes until the cheese is melted.
- Remove from heat and slice in half to enjoy immediately.
