- Boxed Vanilla Cake Mix
- Eggs
- Water
- Gelatin (any flavor)
- Whipped Topping
- Food Coloring
- Sprinkles (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven as directed on the cake mix box. Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
- Prepare and pour the cake batter into the pan. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown. Let cool slightly.
- Poke holes in the cake with a wooden spoon handle or skewer to allow the gelatin to seep through.
- Prepare gelatin according to package instructions and pour over the poked holes in the warm cake.
- Chill the cake in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours to set the layers.
- Spread whipped topping over the cooled cake and decorate with food coloring and sprinkles as desired.
