Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, cream the softened butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in lemon juice and zest.
- Gradually combine dry ingredients with the wet mixture, alternating with milk until smooth.
- Pour batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake for 50-60 minutes or until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
