- 3–4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 2 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and prepare a baking dish with nonstick spray.
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then place them in the baking dish.
- In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, honey, minced garlic, apple cider vinegar, and cornstarch until smooth.
- Pour half of the glaze over the chicken; reserve the other half for basting.
- Bake the chicken for 25-30 minutes or until it reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C), basting once halfway through cooking.
- Let rest before serving and drizzle with remaining glaze.
