- 12 ounces ziti pasta
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 4 cups marinara sauce
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a baking dish.
- Cook ziti pasta in salted water until al dente; drain and set aside.
- In a skillet over medium heat, brown ground beef until no longer pink; stir in marinara sauce and Italian seasoning, simmering for 5 minutes.
- Mix ricotta with half of the mozzarella and Parmesan; season with salt and pepper.
- Layer half of the ziti in the baking dish, followed by meat sauce and dollops of the ricotta mixture. Repeat layers, finishing with meat sauce on top.
- Bake uncovered for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden.
