Ingredients
Scale
- 3–4 boneless skinless chicken breasts (about 1.5 lbs)
- 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 8 oz linguine pasta
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tsp red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)
- 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth
- 2 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
Instructions
- Prepare your ingredients by chopping the garlic and setting the chicken aside.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, melt 2 tablespoons of butter. Add the chicken breasts and cook for about 6-7 minutes per side until golden brown and juices run clear. Remove from skillet.
- In the same skillet, add remaining butter, minced garlic, and red pepper flakes. Sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add linguine, chicken broth, and lemon juice to the skillet. Stir well and let simmer for about 10 minutes until pasta is cooked through.
- Slice the cooked chicken and return it to the skillet along with fresh parsley. Toss everything together for another minute until heated through.
- Serve hot with extra parsley or red pepper flakes if desired.
