- 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Prepare your ingredients by thawing the shrimp if frozen and chopping the parsley.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, melt 1 tablespoon of butter. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Add shrimp to the skillet, season with salt and pepper, and cook until pink, roughly 2 minutes per side.
- Pour in heavy cream and stir to combine. Allow it to simmer for about 2 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Remove from heat and stir in the remaining butter and fresh parsley.
- Serve immediately over pasta or rice, garnished with extra parsley if desired.
