Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef (or turkey)
- 1 can (14 oz) diced tomatoes
- 1 can (15 oz) kidney beans (drained)
- 1 can (15 oz) black beans (drained)
- 1 medium onion (chopped)
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 2 tbsp chili powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Sauté ground beef in the Instant Pot until browned; drain excess fat if necessary.
- Add chopped onions and minced garlic; sauté until softened.
- Stir in diced tomatoes and drained beans; mix well.
- Season with chili powder, salt, and pepper; combine thoroughly.
- Seal the lid and set to high pressure for 10 minutes. Allow natural pressure release for 5 minutes before venting any remaining pressure.
- Carefully remove the lid and serve hot, garnished with shredded cheese or cilantro.
