Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon lemon zest
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your grill or oven to medium heat.
- In a bowl, mix olive oil, lemon zest, lemon juice, black pepper, garlic powder, and salt.
- Place the chicken breasts in a resealable bag and pour the marinade over them. Seal and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
- Remove chicken from marinade and discard any leftover liquid.
- Grill or bake chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side until fully cooked and golden brown.
- Let rest for five minutes before slicing and serving.
