Ingredients
- 1 pound flank steak
- 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 green onions, chopped
Instructions
- Slice flank steak against the grain into thin strips and marinate with soy sauce, brown sugar, cornstarch, garlic, and ginger for 15 minutes.
- Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the marinated beef in batches until browned (3-4 minutes per side). Remove from pan.
- In the same skillet, add any leftover marinade and cook until slightly thickened (about 3 minutes).
- Return beef to the pan along with chopped green onions. Toss until heated through (1 minute).
- Serve over rice or noodles with remaining sauce drizzled on top.
