Ingredients
- 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 8 ounces spaghetti or fettuccine
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- 1/4 cup white wine (optional)
- Juice of 1 lemon
- Fresh parsley or basil for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add shrimp to the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes until pink and opaque.
- If using, pour in white wine; simmer for 2 minutes before adding lemon juice.
- Toss cooked pasta into the skillet with shrimp and sauce, mixing gently over low heat until coated.
- Serve hot, garnished with fresh herbs.
