- 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 8 ounces linguine or spaghetti
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- Juice and zest of one lemon
- Salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the pasta in salted water until al dente; drain and set aside.
- In a skillet over medium heat, melt olive oil and butter. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant (about 1 minute).
- Add shrimp, seasoning with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until pink.
- Squeeze lemon juice over the shrimp and add zest; toss to combine.
- Mix in cooked pasta and heat through for an additional minute.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
