- 1 lb flank steak
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
- 3 tbsp honey
- ½ cup BBQ sauce (your favorite brand)
- 8 taco shells (corn or flour)
- Fresh cilantro, diced onions, and avocado slices for topping
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine minced garlic, melted butter, honey, and BBQ sauce to create the marinade. Add the flank steak and let it marinate at room temperature for 30 minutes.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat (about 400°F/200°C).
- Cook the marinated flank steak on the grill for 4-5 minutes per side until browned and cooked to your liking.
- Remove steak from heat and let it rest covered with foil for 5 minutes before slicing against the grain into thin strips.
- Warm taco shells in a dry skillet until pliable. Fill each shell with sliced steak and top with cilantro, onions, and avocado.
