Ingredients
- Fresh white fish fillets (such as cod, tilapia, or salmon)
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 cloves minced garlic
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Juice of 1 lemon
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Season both sides of the fish fillets with salt and pepper.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and melt 2 tablespoons of butter.
- Once bubbling, add the fish fillets and sear for 3-4 minutes until golden brown.
- Flip the fish, adding the remaining butter and minced garlic; cook for another 3-4 minutes while basting with the melted butter.
- Remove from heat, drizzle with lemon juice, garnish with parsley, and serve immediately.
