Ingredients
- 12 ounces linguine or spaghetti
- 1 pound fresh shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 tablespoons olive oil
- 6 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- Juice of one lemon
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, melt butter and olive oil. Add minced garlic and red pepper flakes; sauté for about two minutes until fragrant.
- Add shrimp, season with salt and pepper, and cook for about 3–4 minutes until pink and opaque.
- Squeeze in lemon juice, then toss in the drained pasta along with reserved pasta water as needed for coating.
- Garnish with parsley and serve immediately.
