Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt until combined.
- In another bowl, cream softened butter with granulated and brown sugars until light and fluffy.
- Mix in eggs one at a time and add vanilla extract until fully incorporated.
- Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients until just combined—do not overmix.
- Fold in chocolate chips and drizzle caramel sauce into the batter gently.
- Scoop rounded portions onto prepared baking sheets about two inches apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are set but centers remain soft. Cool slightly on pans before transferring to wire racks.
