Ingredients

  • 1 cup roasted hazelnuts
  • 1/2 cup chocolate hazelnut spread
  • 200g milk chocolate
  • 100g dark chocolate
  • 1 cup crushed wafer cookies
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Melt half the milk and dark chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals until smooth.
  2. In a separate bowl, combine crushed wafer cookies, chopped hazelnuts, butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until well-mixed.
  3. Scoop small portions of the filling and mold around whole hazelnuts into bite-sized balls.
  4. Dip each truffle into the melted chocolate until fully coated, then place on parchment paper to set.
  5. While still wet, sprinkle crushed hazelnuts on top for decoration and let cool either at room temperature or in the fridge.
