- 1 cup roasted hazelnuts
- 1/2 cup chocolate hazelnut spread
- 200g milk chocolate
- 100g dark chocolate
- 1 cup crushed wafer cookies
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Melt half the milk and dark chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals until smooth.
- In a separate bowl, combine crushed wafer cookies, chopped hazelnuts, butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until well-mixed.
- Scoop small portions of the filling and mold around whole hazelnuts into bite-sized balls.
- Dip each truffle into the melted chocolate until fully coated, then place on parchment paper to set.
- While still wet, sprinkle crushed hazelnuts on top for decoration and let cool either at room temperature or in the fridge.
