Ingredients

  • 8 oz full-fat cream cheese
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • ½ cup melted butter
  • Powdered sugar for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish with non-stick spray.
  2. In a bowl, beat together cream cheese and granulated sugar until smooth.
  3. Add eggs one at a time along with vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
  4. In another bowl, combine melted butter and flour until crumbly; press half into the bottom of the baking dish.
  5. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the base, then sprinkle chocolate chips on top.
  6. Crumble the remaining flour mixture over the filling and bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Allow to cool completely before slicing into squares; dust with powdered sugar if desired.
