- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 3/4 cup dark chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 2 large eggs (room temperature)
- 1/2 cup whole milk
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a muffin tin by greasing it.
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder, and salt until combined.
- In another bowl, mix eggs, milk, oil, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and fold gently until just combined.
- Fold in dark chocolate chips carefully.
- Spoon the batter into the greased muffin tins about two-thirds full and bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let them cool in the pan for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
