- 1 cup frozen custard (your choice of flavor)
- 1/4 cup cinnamon sugar (for coating)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease your donut molds.
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt until combined.
- In another bowl, mix milk, eggs, and melted butter until smooth.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients gently until just mixed; avoid over-mixing.
- Fill donut molds halfway with batter and bake for 10-12 minutes until golden brown.
- Cool donuts in pans for 5 minutes before transferring to wire racks. Once cool, fill each donut with frozen custard using a piping bag.
- Roll filled donuts in cinnamon sugar for the finishing touch.
