- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1 lb)
- 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 8 oz fettuccine or linguine pasta
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Mince garlic and cut chicken into bite-sized pieces. Set aside.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, melt half of the butter. Add chicken, season with salt and pepper, and cook until golden brown (5-7 minutes).
- Stir in minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in heavy cream and add Italian seasoning; simmer on low heat for 3-5 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente; drain, reserving some pasta water.
- Combine pasta with the creamy chicken mixture in the skillet, adding reserved pasta water as needed. Stir in grated Parmesan until melted.
