- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 cup BBQ sauce (your favorite brand)
- 8 tortillas (flour or corn)
- Optional toppings: fresh cilantro, diced onions, avocado
Instructions
- Prep the Beef: Trim excess fat from the beef and cut it into chunks.
- Sear the Meat: Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat; sear beef until browned on all sides.
- Add Garlic and Butter: Reduce heat to medium-low, add minced garlic and butter; sauté until fragrant.
- Mix in Honey and BBQ Sauce: Stir in honey and BBQ sauce; let simmer for 15-20 minutes.
- Shred the Beef: Remove from heat and shred beef using two forks.
- Warm Tortillas: Heat tortillas on a dry skillet until soft, then fill with shredded beef and desired toppings.
