- 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
- ¼ tsp salt
- ¾ cup unsalted butter (softened)
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- ½ cup brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup sweetened shredded coconut
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
- In a saucepan, melt the butter over low heat until bubbly.
- Remove from heat and whisk in granulated and brown sugars until combined. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition; stir in vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, mix flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture until just combined.
- Fold in coconut, pecans, and chocolate chips.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean or slightly sticky.
- Allow to cool before cutting into squares or rectangles.
