- 2 slices Halal sourdough bread
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- ½ cup panko breadcrumbs
- Optional: Sliced tomatoes or avocado for extra flavor
Instructions
- Gather and prepare all ingredients.
- Generously butter one side of each slice of bread.
- Layer mozzarella and cheddar cheese between the slices (butter side out).
- Dip the sandwich into panko breadcrumbs, pressing gently to adhere.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat, grill the sandwich for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown and cheese is melted.
- Allow to cool slightly before slicing and enjoy!
