- 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 4 oz thick-cut pepperoni slices
- ¼ cup hot honey
- ¼ cup fresh basil leaves
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 475°F (245°C). Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface until it reaches about 12 inches in diameter.
- Drizzle olive oil over the dough, spreading evenly. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella generously over the base.
- Arrange thick-cut pepperoni slices evenly on top of the cheese.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown and bubbly.
- Remove from the oven, drizzle with hot honey, and scatter fresh basil leaves before slicing and serving.
