Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb fresh salmon fillets (skinless)
- 1/4 cup hot honey
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
- 2 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp chili flakes (adjust to taste)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds (optional)
Instructions
- Cut the salmon fillets into uniform bite-sized pieces (about 1-2 inches).
- In a bowl, mix together hot honey, soy sauce, garlic powder, lemon juice, and chili flakes until well combined.
- Heat olive oil in a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
- Add salmon pieces to the pan without overcrowding; cook each side for about 3-4 minutes until golden brown and flaky.
- Pour the glaze over the salmon bites halfway through cooking and let caramelize slightly.
- Once cooked through (internal temperature should reach 145°F), remove from heat and sprinkle with sesame seeds before serving.
