- 1/2 lb deli meats (turkey, ham, or roast beef)
- 4 oz cream cheese (plain or flavored)
- 1 cup fresh vegetables (lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers)
- 4 slices cheese (provolone or cheddar)
- 2 tbsp mustard
- 2 tbsp mayonnaise
Instructions
- Gather all ingredients on a clean surface. Lay out the bread slices in pairs.
- In a small bowl, mix cream cheese with herbs or spices for added flavor.
- Spread the flavored cream cheese on one slice of each pair. Layer on deli meats, cheese, and fresh vegetables.
- On the other slice of bread, spread mustard and mayonnaise before placing it atop the layered fillings.
- Press down gently to secure everything in place. Slice sandwiches into halves or quarters for easy serving.
