- 8 oz penne pasta
- 1 lb shrimp (peeled and deveined)
- 4 cloves garlic (minced)
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese (divided)
- 2 tsp Italian seasoning
- ¼ cup fresh parsley (chopped)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the penne pasta in salted boiling water until al dente, then drain.
- In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat, add minced garlic, and sauté for about 1 minute. Add shrimp and cook until pink, approximately 3-4 minutes.
- In a large bowl, combine the cooked pasta with shrimp mixture, heavy cream, half of the Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, and parsley; mix well.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish. Top with remaining Parmesan cheese and bake for 20 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
