- 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour

- For the Buttercream Frosting:
- 3 cups powdered sugar
- ½ cup unsalted butter (softened)
- 2 tbsp heavy cream or milk
- 2 tsp pure vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a cupcake tin with liners.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, cream softened butter until light and fluffy, then gradually add sugar.
- Beat in eggs one at a time, then mix in vanilla extract.
- Alternate adding dry ingredients and milk to the creamed mixture until just combined.
- Fill cupcake liners two-thirds full and bake for 18-20 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
- For frosting, beat butter until creamy; gradually add powdered sugar and heavy cream until smooth.
- Frost cooled cupcakes generously.
