  • 28 oz canned crushed tomatoes

  • 4 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)

Instructions

  1. In a large pot over medium heat, heat olive oil. Sauté diced onion and minced garlic for about three minutes until soft.
  2. Add ground beef to the pot and cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks (about five to seven minutes). Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Stir in crushed tomatoes and Italian seasoning; let simmer for five minutes.
  4. Add broken lasagna noodles and beef broth to the pot. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for about ten minutes until noodles are tender.
  5. Stir in half of the mozzarella until melted. Serve hot, garnished with remaining mozzarella and Parmesan.
