Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine warm milk and yeast; let sit for 5 minutes until frothy. Add sugar, melted butter, and flour; mix until a soft dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth. Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm place until doubled (about 1 hour).
- Prepare the filling by mixing brown sugar, chopped pecans, and cinnamon in a bowl.
- Roll out the risen dough into a rectangle, spread softened butter over it, then sprinkle the filling evenly.
- Roll tightly from one long side to another and slice into equal pieces (about 1 inch thick).
- Place sliced buns in a greased baking dish, pour melted butter mixed with maple syrup over them, and bake at 350°F for about 25 minutes until golden brown.
