- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1.5 lbs)
- 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 2 large eggs
- 3 cloves fresh garlic (minced)
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ½ cup chicken broth
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- Fresh parsley (for garnish)
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and prepare a baking dish with nonstick spray.
- Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
- In one bowl, combine Parmesan cheese and panko breadcrumbs. In another bowl, whisk the eggs until frothy.
- Dip each chicken breast in the egg mixture, then coat thoroughly in the breadcrumb mixture.
- Place coated chicken in the baking dish and bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
- For the sauce, melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat, sauté garlic until fragrant, then stir in heavy cream and chicken broth. Simmer until slightly thickened.
- Serve chicken drizzled with creamy garlic sauce and garnish with fresh parsley.
