- 8 oz penne pasta
- 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese, divided
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
- ½ tsp red pepper flakes
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a baking dish.
- Cook the penne pasta in salted boiling water until al dente (about 8-10 minutes). Drain and set aside.
- In a skillet over medium heat, melt the butter and sauté minced garlic until fragrant. Add shrimp and cook until pink (about 3 minutes per side).
- In a large bowl, combine cooked pasta, sautéed shrimp, heavy cream, lemon juice, red pepper flakes, and half of the Parmesan cheese. Mix well.
- Transfer the mixture to the greased baking dish and top with remaining Parmesan cheese.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until bubbly and golden brown on top. Serve hot.
