Ingredients
- 2 slices of bread (sourdough, white, or whole wheat)
- 2 slices of cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, Gruyère)
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
Instructions
- Preheat a skillet over medium heat for 2-3 minutes.
- Spread butter generously on one side of each slice of bread.
- Place one slice butter-side down in the skillet and layer with cheese.
- Top with the second slice of bread, butter-side up.
- Grill for 3-4 minutes until golden brown; flip and grill the other side for another 3-4 minutes until cheese is melted and both sides are crispy.
- Let it sit for one minute before slicing and serving.
